This service enables the Economic Cities property owners to develop two distinct types of activities:

  1. Standalone infrastructure for some non-building structures such as bridges, canals, telecommunications towers, etc.
  2. Utility constructions to proceed for a Local Area Plan.

    1. Roads & Highways: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 1,875 Per Each Kilometer, Application Fee: SAR 300.
    2. OverPass/bridges: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 2,500 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 300.
    3. Intersection/Traffic Signal Plan: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 1,000 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 300.
    4. Primary Roads with Storm-water & Road Lighting Utilities: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 1,250 Per Each Kilometer, Application Fee: SAR 300.
    5. Secondary Roads with Storm-water & Road Lighting Utilities: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 875 Per Each Kilometer, Application Fee: SAR 300.
    6. Under Pass/tunnels: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 4,000 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 300.
    7. Interchange ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 5,000 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 300.
  • Water & Waste-water networks:
    1. Water Transmission/distribution & Fire Fighting networks: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 1,200 Per Each Kilometer, Application Fee: SAR 300.
    2. Waste-water Collection/Sewer networks: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 1,200 Per Each Kilometer, Application Fee: SAR 300.
    3. Storm-water networks: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 750 Per Each Kilometer, Application Fee: SAR 300.
    4. Irrigation Network: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 600 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 300.
    5. Water Service Connection: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 150 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 300.
    6. Waste-water Service Connection: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 150 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 300.
    7. Electrical Service Connections: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 150 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 300.
  • Water & Waste-water Facilities:
    1. Water Distribution & Fire Fighting Pumping Station: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 6,250 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 1,000.
    2. Irrigation Pumping Station: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 6,250 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 1,000.
    3. Waste-water Pumping/Lift Station: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 7,000 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 1,000.
    4. Water Reservoirs: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 100 Per Each Cubic Meter, Application Fee: SAR 500.
  • Electrical Networks:
    1. MV NETWORK: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 250 Per Total Kilometers of Cables, Application Fee: SAR 500.
    2. SERVICE TRANSFORMER and FEERER PANEL: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 500 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 500.
    3. Transmission/Distribution per Station HV/MV with SCADA: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 2,500 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 3,000.
  • Telecommunication Networks:
    1. Passive Network Construction: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 500 Per Each Kilometer, Application Fee: SAR 500.
    2. Telecom Data Center & Primary Exchange Construction: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 40,000 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 2,500.
    3. Communication Tower & Shelter: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 2,500 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 1,000.
    4. Point of Presence Construction: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 2,500 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 1,000.
  • Security Networks:
    1. Security Network: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 250 Per Each Kilometer, Application Fee: SAR 500.
    2. Data Security Center: ECA Municipality Fee: SAR 2,500 Per Each Unit, Application Fee: SAR 500.
    Applicant:
  • Risk insurance policy.
  • Cumulative load calculation via main source/utility to be connected to.
  • Waste Disposal Plan.
  • Construction Contract.
  • Supervision Consultant Contract.
  • Design Consultant Contract.
  • If available, Approved Local Area Plan.
  • If available, Plots ID.
  • If available, Hydrological Study of The Developed Area.
    • Prequalified Design Consultant:
  • Design Package Transmittal Document to DRC.
  • Detailed Design Drawings.
  • Design consultant compliance letter.
  • Network General Layout Drawings for Sewerage, Stormwater, Potable water, Firefighting, Irrigation, HV/MV/LV Power, Street lighting, Telecommunication, and Transit.
  • If Applicable, General Layout Drawings for District cooling, HP/IP/LP Gas, and Utilities.
  • If available, Environmental impact assessment (EIA).
    • Design Review Consultant:
  • DRC compliance letter.
  • DRC Review final Approval Applications.
  • Network Detailed Design Package for Sewerage, Stormwater, Potable water, Firefighting, Irrigation, HV/MV/LV Power, Street lighting, Telecommunication, and Transit.
  • Site Plan Location.
  • Utilities Corridor Section.
  • If Applicable, Detailed Design Package for District cooling, HP/IP/LP Gas, and Utilities.
  • Designs must conform to the approved local area plan and to the design guidelines and croquis, which are attached to the agreement between the Master Developer/owner and the investor.
  • Design packages must be submitted by a design consultant prequalified from the Economic Cities Authority.
  • Design reviews must be completed by a reviewer consultant authorized from the Economic Cities Authority.
  • Design packages must be submitted in Adobe PDF format.
  • Compliance certificates must be stamped and submitted in Adobe PDF format.
  • Fire and safety certificates must be stamped by an authorized consultant or an authorized safety consultant.
  • Documents must be valid at the time of submitting the case (three months before expiry date).
  • Complete the service ‘Issue Investment License’.
  • Complete the real estate services ‘Register Property’.
  • 10 working days on completion of an application that fulfills all terms and conditions.
  • Customers can start the process of Issue Operation Permit that is a main service required to operate a business Inside an Economic City.
