The Economic and Special Zones Authority (ECZA) recently won the prestigious 2022 National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) Excellence Award for government operational excellence.

Mr. Nabil Khojah, the Secretary General of ECZA. Accepted the award at NIDLP’s annual closing ceremony, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Energy.

The ceremony also saw the attendance of His Excellency Bandar Alkhorayef, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and head of the NIDLP panel; H. E. Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser, the Minister of Transport and Logistic Services; H. E. Faisal Alibrahim, the Minister of Economy and Planning; members of the committee, and top officials of the executive branch.

The award recognizes ECZA’s successful recruitment of SAR6.6 billion across numerous strategic quality investments that bolstered the NDILP sector’s appeal to investors. ECZA’s regulatory environment and competitive incentives played an integral role in enabling investors to launch many projects in 2022.
