In line with efforts to enhance both cooperative SEZ development across free zones in both KSA and Oman and overall economic relations and mutual investments between the two nations, ECZA has signed an MoU with the Omani Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ). The two parties entered into the agreement on February 1, 2023, on the sidelines of the Saudi-Omani Investment Forum at The Arena in Riyadh, and in the presence of a number of excellencies and CEOs of major Saudi and Omani companies and representatives of both countries’ public and private sectors.
The MoU, which was signed by H.E. the Chairman of OPAZ, Dr. Ali M. Al Sunaidy, and H.E. ECZA SG Nabil M. Khojah, aims to facilitate the mutual exchange of expertise that will facilitate greater investment and trade exchange between the two countries, in addition to working on a mutually-relevant framework and action plan.
This MoU is in line with the interests of all government agencies in KSA and Oman to achieve the aspirations of its leadership for growth, prosperity, and greater fraternal relations.
