VSG for EC Affairs, accompanied by ECZA Deputy, King Abdullah Port Affairs, received a delegation from the Saudi Accreditation (SA) headed by its Executive Director and accompanied by a number of SA's leaders.

During their visit, the delegation attended a presentation at ECZA’s Head Office in KAEC and King Abdullah Port, during which their team provided an overview of ECZA’s services, as well as an executive summary of the port’s achievements and future plans. The presentation also highlighted ECZA’s its role in enhancing the quality of the Kingdom’s logistics infrastructure and overall standing in the global transport and logistics industry.

ECZA and SA representatives also discussed aspects of joint cooperation across both accreditation and quality assurance efforts. The two parties stressed the importance of accrediting conformity assessment bodies that serve the Kingdom’s logistics and industrial manufacturing sectors. The Executive Director of SA commended the efforts being made to promote and enhance these conformity assessment bodies and their services, while also encouraging the private sector to play a greater role in providing these same services.
