Mr. Mazen Al Saleh, VSG for EC Affairs, accompanied by Eng. Mohammad Bukhari, Executive Director and KAEC Business Partner, and Mr. Cyril Piaia, CEO of KAEC, received a delegation from the Ministry of Finance at KAEC on December 4, 2022. The group, which included stakeholders from international agencies, organizations, and institutions, as well as investors and media personnel, were taken on a visit to the city as part of the Tour in Saudi Arabia program. Eng. Bukhari provided an extensive overview of KAEC during the tour, including its overarching goals, investor services, and the many promising opportunities available throughout. Its world-class industrial infrastructure, Eng. Bukhari stated, adheres to the highest international standards, and is overseen along with the rest of the city by a highly-qualified and experienced executive staff.

During his speech, Eng. Bukhari stressed the synergy of KAEC’s strategy with the foundational principles of Vision 2030, given its foregrounding of key concerns regarding good governance and sustainability, the facilitation of effective supplier access, local and international investor support, and the effective utilization of the IV’s immense capabilities and infrastructure to empower advanced industrial stakeholders.

The delegation toured many of KAEC’s facilities and was briefed on the progress of several project sites. At King Abdullah Port Tower, the delegation was given a presentation on the port’s extensive capabilities. They also toured the Mars Saudi Arabia factory’s facilities and production line, as well as the Binzagr distribution company’s warehouses, where they were given a first-hand look at the cutting-edge logistics solutions that give the company its competitive advantage.

As a whole, the visit was organized to help introduce major Vision 2030-adjacent projects, and promote the Kingdom’s exceptional business capabilities as well as its rich culture and social life.
