ECZA participated in a workshop of the National Program for the Development of Collective Housing for Individuals, organized by the Ministry of Municipal & Rural Affairs & Housing (MOMRAH) on October 20, 2022 at the Crowne Plaza Riyadh RDC Hotel & Convention, which was attended by representatives from 10 government agencies and a number of MOMRAH leaders. During the workshop, an inclusive visual presentation was delivered on the program’s scope of work and the achievements made by participating parties in 2022.
ECZA was represented by Eng. Turki Khayat, Director General, Oversight and Performance Management, Oversight & Performance Management, Eng. Mohammed Al-Amoudi, Senior Manager, Operations Compliance, Oversight & Performance Management, and Ms. Eman Mufti, Public Relations Manager.
Eng. Al-Amoudi gave a presentation on the progress made by ECZA in regard to its implementation of the program’s strategy, which includes the introduction of self-inspection measures for facilities and activating its e-service, where an investor can perform a self-inspection by following a specific checklist and sending the evaluation result to ECZA. Eng. Al-Amoudi also shared updates regarding fully automated licensing procedures, and an increase of 33% in the number of residents in approved collective housing, as the population increased to 1,216, compared to 950 in 2021.
