ECZA PARTICIPATES IN A SEMINAR TO ATTRACT UK UNIVERSITIES TO KAEC

ECZA has concluded its participation in a seminar aimed at inviting UK universities to operate within KAEC. The seminar was held at the Views Hotel and Residences on November 3, 2022, in honor of the visit of a high-level delegation from the British education sector headed by H.E. Sir Steve Smith, the British Prime Minister's Special Representative for Education, accompanied by a delegation of Vice-Chancellors and Deputy Vice-Chancellors from leading UK universities. The seminar came as part of a domestic tour aimed at exploring potential venues for branch campuses of UK universities to be established in Saudi Arabia.

ECZA was represented during the seminar by VSG for EC Affairs, Mr. Mazen Al Saleh, and the Executive DG and KAEC Business Partner Eng. Mohammed Boukhari, who presented ECZA regulatory roles and the integrated government services provided to local and foreign investors in Economic Citiess.

The seminar discussed a number of investment opportunities available in the education sector within KAEC. Moreover, it was highlighted added value position and its competitiveness, as one of the most important national destinations to motivate universities to open branches in the city,  in support of the initiative to attract international universities and contribute to the development of the education and training sectors in KSA, in line with achieving the objectives of Vision 2030.
